Avi-Plus Parakeet Handrearing is formulated and developed for feeding birds from 10 days after hatching. When water is added to a creamy consistency, it passes easily through a syringe and crop needle. This formula has a lower percentage of protein than Avi-Plus Handrearing for Parrots and is more suitable for smaller species like lovebirds, cockatiels, grass parakeets and rosellas. Contains proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements in the levels suitable for avian species. Added amino acids and Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids aid with healthy skin and provide for future lustrous plumage development. The carbohydrates have been cooked to ensure complete digestibility and unsaturated and saturated vegetable fats have been added to provide energy and growth.
